Members of Faith Lutheran Church worked with the consulting firm of Allen-Olson during the spring of 2011. The product of these meetings has become known as Vision 2016. There are three goals the congregation is working diligently towards through the church boards and various task forces. Each goal will help Faith Lutheran Church reach its mission of being a community of believers in Christ, whose purpose is to share God's love and forgiveness through worship, education, support and service.
Provide joyful, engaging, and dynamic worship opportunities Worship planning teams will be developed for each of the three services and we will work to determine needs that will allow us to better utilize our facility and enhance our worship services.
Build, nurture and strengthen member relations We will work to establish a plan to effectively use large group gatherings to more effectively build relationships. We will also train members for small group leadership in order to enhance our small group ministries.
Develop evangelism strategies the encourage Faith members to reach out to the community and each other We will develop an outreach strategy to promote Faith Lutheran Church and work towards engaging active and under-active members. |
