Meet Pastor Jim Rasmus

Pastor Jim began his ministry among us in January of 2009. We have come to appreciate his engaging approach to his ministry among us. We rely on him to constantly remind us of the grace of God which sustains us in our lives, as well as the presence of the Holy Spirit to guide and support us in our discipleship.

Under Pastor Jim's leadership our congregation has been able to move beyond some old conflicts and begin to experience again the joy of the fellowship we share in the person and work of Jesus Christ. He has helped us explore some new ways of living out our mission, while continuing the meaningful endeavors of Christian service that have always been a significant part of our ministry.

Pastor Jim lives in Manitowoc with his wife Martha and their two dogs (Jack and Chase). Between them they have seven children, six of whom are living, and ten grandchildren. When he's not in his office or out ministering to the needs of the congregation, you'll probably find him somewhere enjoying the company of Martha and their grandchildren. He loves singing barbershop with the Clipper City Chordsmen. His other interests include playing golf, riding bike, canoeing, cross-country skiing. . . .
